Building on the success of the 2016 community support project, Dreg Waters Petroleum and Logistics Limited is once again set to share the joy this holiday season with the community of Tarkwa Bay in Lagos State, Nigeria. This 2017 community support project is in association with Slum2School Africa, a renowned Non-Governmental Organization with the mission “to transform the society by empowering every child to realize their full potential.”
The give-back project tagged “Christmas in a Box” will hold on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the Tarkwa Bay, an artificial sheltered beach located near the Lagos harbour in Nigeria. As it is the tradition of Dreg Waters, this year’s community support project is packed with so much amusing activities, merriments, and several take-home educational materials for hundreds of young children living within the Island community.
Expressing her excitement about the project, the Chief Executive Officer of Dreg Waters, Miss Damilola Owolabi stated that, “We are glad to partner with the esteemed team of Slum2School Africa for our community support project this year. We recognize how important social responsibility is to our customers; therefore we ensure that a positive impact is made on our community.”
